About this trip

Most honeymoon packages are the standard circuit with flower petals added. This one is actually built differently: fewer stops, later starts, and afternoons left open.

You get a private houseboat night on Dal Lake, a candlelit dinner arranged wherever you are staying, and rooms we have chosen for the view rather than the star rating. Gulmarg and Pahalgam are both included, but each as a relaxed day rather than a checklist.

Day by day

  1. Day 1

    Arrive Srinagar

    Airport pickup and a private houseboat on Dal Lake. Sunset shikara ride, then dinner on board.

  2. Day 2

    Srinagar at your pace

    A later start. Mughal gardens in the morning, afternoon free. Candlelit dinner in the evening.

  3. Day 3

    To Pahalgam

    Drive to Pahalgam via the saffron fields. Afternoon walk along the Lidder river.

  4. Day 4

    Pahalgam valleys

    Betaab and Aru valleys at an easy pace. Rest of the day free.

  5. Day 5

    Gulmarg

    Drive to Gulmarg, gondola ride and time in the meadow. Return to Srinagar.

  6. Day 6

    Departure

    Transfer to Srinagar airport.
