No, and no operator in Kashmir includes them. The Gulmarg gondola is ticketed on the day by the development authority, and at Gulmarg, Pahalgam and Sonamarg local union taxis are mandatory by local rules. We tell you the likely costs upfront so nothing is a surprise.

Our packages are land-only, which usually works out cheaper for you — flight prices move constantly and you can often book better than a fixed package rate. We are happy to advise on timings and which airport to use.

Yes, and most of our bookings end up customised. Change the nights, swap the hotels, add or remove destinations, adjust the pace. There is no charge for planning and no obligation to book.

It can be, with care. Leh is at 3,500 m and Pangong at 4,350 m. Anyone with a heart or lung condition should consult a doctor first. We build in acclimatisation days and carry oxygen, but please tell us about medical conditions before booking so we can advise honestly.

Yes — Inner Line Permits are required for Nubra, Pangong and several other areas. We arrange these for Indian nationals and include them in the package price. Foreign nationals need a Protected Area Permit, which we also handle; please give us extra notice.

The Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board announces dates each year, usually a few months before the yatra begins in July. Registration requires a Compulsory Health Certificate from a doctor on their authorised list. Contact us and we will confirm the current year's process and help with the paperwork.
